This is how it works: Comment on this entry and I will give you a letter. Write ten words beginning with that letter in your journal, including an explanation of what the word means to you and why, and then pass out letters to those who want to play along.
My letter given to me by
yakizakana is B.
Bird My daddy didn't give me much, but he gave me a name. He got it from his daddy. Where HE got it, no one actually knows. Its rumored that its not the only last name he used, but it was the one he used when he enlisted in the Navy (age 16 maybe after running away from an orphanage) so its the one that stuck. Now I gave it to my son, the last male of the Bird line.
Binary Calm down, its only Ones and Zeros. I knew how to count in binary before I knew what binary was. My dad taught me a little game flipping pennies when I was 5 years old, that was basically counting in binary. Only later when I was "learning" binary in school did I realize I already knew it. Everything a computer does is at a fundamental level represented in Binary code. Its been my pleausure most of my life manipulating these 1's and 0's to make the computer do neat tricks for me.
Boobies I love them. Breasts, knockers, bodacious ta-tas, whatever you want to call them, they are one of my favorite parts of the female anatomy. I am not ashamed of my admiration for the female form, and the breasts are one of the highlights.
Buccaneers What can I say? I like pirates. Yo ho ho and all that jazz. Pirates of the Carribean is my favorite ride at Disneyland. I own a kilt made out of skull & crossbones pattern fabric. I also have shirt that reads "Kiss Me, I'm a Pirate!" I have owned at least two Jolly Rogers. I used to fly a Jolly Roger over my computer desk. Cuz I'm a pirate myself. Not really a swashbuckler, but have been known to watch movies, listen to music, and use software I didn't pay for.
Beauty I love all that surrounds me. You can find beauty in just about anything if you look hard enough. Though I much prefer not having to look hard at all.
Bottles of Jolt Cola Jolt is my favorite beverage of all time. And it tastes best out of a glass bottle. I haven't seen a glass bottle of Jolt in YEARS. I don't think they make them anymore. I used to get them off Roach Coaches. First at School, then later at work. Yummm Jolt Cola in a glass bottle. Ain't much better.
Brandon Big B. I learned a lot from him. The biggest lesson is that life isn't fucking fair, and you can die anytime. He taught me life was too short to not express and feel love as much as one can, and don't let any bullshit get in the way. The last time I saw him alive, in the hospital bed he told me he loved me. It was sincere and heartfelt, and I found myself telling him that I loved him too, and I found that it was the truth. If you love someone, don't wait to tell them, tomorrow is not promised to anyone.
Byte No, this isn't cheating by extending the entry on Binary. It was also a magazine. I remember my Dad reading it, and I read it when I was older. I remember it most clearly when Dad went to a computer fair at the end of the 1970s and his goody bag was this blue plastic bag with the snap together handles with a big BYTE logo on it.
Bit Still not cheating. I mean the little guy from Tron that only said yes or no. I love that guy. He was so cute. I also named a Cartoon Character I created in High School Bit.
Badger Badger Badger How can you not love this little flash animation? I know
hheather likes it. Lots of good material in that cartoon for 1,000 Blank White Cards cards.
