Things are looking up

Got the care started.

dreamerrose showed up exactly when she said she would, and we were off to Wal Mart to buy a five-gallon gas can and then to the Exxon to buy five gallons of gas.

Then I had to put it in the car. I think I got the wrong kind of gas-can for filling a car. Oh well, it was slow going, but I got it in there.

AND...

The car started right up!

So I drove to the gas station and filled it the rest of the way up.

So hopefully the car is good to go now (knock on wood).

Kind of wish I didn't spend all that money on the cold-weather battery now. Oh well. I killed our old battery a few times, it probably was wise to replace it anyway.

My mood is still a bit depressive, but the stress is lifting. Thats a small thing.

I am glad that at least one of your stressors has been removed. Lacking transportation is very stressful.
