I'm back! (what do you mean you didn't know I was gone?)

Things in the real world have kept me from the virtual one. I missed an opprotunity in Star Wars Galaxies, and I have not been reading or updating in LiveJournal. So if there is something I should know from the past couple weeks, just let me know.

We have a new addition to the family. Jimmy. Jimmy is a small white mouse we bought for Conor yesterday. He is a very cute, very friendly little critter. We bought a mouse-ball for him to run around in, but he is too small for that yet. I hope he will grow and be able to scoot around the house. Conor named the mouse himself, and I think he got the name from the main character in Bubble Boy. If I have sexed him right, Jimmy, thankfully, is a boy. Ofcourse if it was not the case, nothing would convince Conor otherwise anyway.

Conor is having a difficult morning. They opened up a new area on the test server of Toontown, yet since we have gotten home, it crashes on loading. Which is a shame as it loaded fine before buffalogal went to work. This lead to much tantrums. I heard the familiar banging on the keyboard when things don't go well, to see Conor up on the table literally jumping up and down on the keyboard!!! I pulled him off the computer, and the tantrum continued. Then I put in a DVD of Black & White Mickey Mouse cartoons. Ah! The panacea that is Black & White Mickey! We have peace once again.

I watched Donnie Darko for the first time during arwen_jinn's visit. It was a good movie, and she left me the tape! Thank you! It was a bit triggery for me, as I was the medicated, slightly psychotic teenager in my past -- though I never experienced time travel.

Good luck on the mouse! If I had know I would have kept all the mice stuff I had and shipped it to you folks rather then give it to some lady off Craigslist.

Hopefully the male mouse won't be as smelly as the one I had.

Donnie Darko is a great movie! Kinda disturbed me while I was watching it, but once it got to the end, I was okay. That rabbit thing was creepy!! There's a similar movie called "The Jacket" that just came out. You might like it as well.

Isabelle and Conor have the same reaction to the computer messing up it would seem..she beats it with her fists if it doesn't produce toontown.
