33 years ago today, Super Friends premiered on ABC. Growing up, it was one of my favorite Saturday Morning Cartoon shows.

Personally I liked Wendy, Marvin, and Wonder Dog over the Wonder Twins and Gleek the space monkey. But thats just me.

I decided I needed to change my luck, so I ate a whole box of fortune cookies and kept the fortunes all to myself.

Finished watching the fourth Season of Smallville on DVD today. Only one day overdue from the library. I think I am the first on the list to get Season 5 when it comes in next week. I hope I get to watch it before season 6 starts on television. I never really followed Smallville before, but now watching it, I really really enjoy it. I dunno why I didn't get into it before now, as I love all things Superman. Probably due to my difficulties following anything on weekly television. I can never remember to tune in!

I have now read every novel by Neal Stephenson. I am gonna read _Snow Crash_ next, and then I would have read all his novels consecutivly (though not in order). It all started when I got the first of the Barouqe Cycle at the libary. 3000 or so pages later, I reread Cryptonomicon. Then I read Zodiac, then I started re-reading The Diamond Age, but then The Big U came in from interlibrary loan, so I read that. Then I finished The Diamond Age, and today started Snow Crash and thats everything. Oh except for In the Beginning Was The Commnad Line which I believe is non-fiction, and I am waiting for on Interlibrary Loan.

I find I am happiest lately while "playing" second life. So I have been doing that. A lot.

One time I ate a chocolate covered fortune cookie and didn't stop to think, since it was chocolate covered, that it was a FORTUNE cookie. Fortunes get really soggy and unreadable when you chew them :(

Actually I think I owe you one. Work got busy again and I've had spotty e-mail/'Net access while on vacation in the middle of BFE Southern US (Muskogee OK for God's sakes!).

Wonder Twins powers activate! Shape of... and eagle! How come the twins never got to change into anything cool? It was always like, a bucket of water or something lame like that. She was a little bit country and he was a little bit rock and roll.

When I was little I had Super Friends sheets and Super Friends Underoos. Needless to say I was the envy of all my friends. What can I say, I was the cool kid, if only for just one moment.

Ah the good ol' days...
