An interesting cereal Arrrrrival.
The other night, shortly after 10 pm, we ran out of toilet paper. In our household this is not something that can be remedied in the morning. I had to go out, and buy more toilet paper. Because of the time, there was really only one option as to where to purchase said TP. Wal-Mart. So I went to the store of last resort. After I had the 12 double rolls of Cottonelle with Aloe & E in hand, I scooted down the cereal aisle. I found gold, there my mateys. Cereal Gold. This is perhaps the best Cereal packaging I have ever come across. A most unexpected cereal-product tie-in. What is it says you? Click the cut and find out, says I.

IS that not cool? Captain Jack Sparrow himself selling a box of "Chocolate Pearl-Shaped Cereal with Pirate-Shaped Marshmellows. Who would have thought we would ever see Johnny Depp on a box of cereal? But there is more. Oh Yes, this box is jam packed with Piratey goodness printed all over. Here is the back:

Here we have a Pirate vocabulary word, another picture of Captain Jack Sparrow, and a reminder that the movie will be in theaters in 2006. We also see that this cereal that was on the shelf the first week of Febuary will still be good the first week of November.
The cereal itself was pretty yummy. It is basically Co-Coa Puffs with the marshmellows from Lucky Charms. Isn't that also the recipe for Count Chocula come to think of it? I guess its too much to ask to come up with a whole new cereal, all the work obviously goes into the box.

My parents seperated, and I didn't have a computer in my house again until I was 20! Another Apple II that someone donated to my school, but they had no use for. Ofcourse in those 13 years, I managed to get lots of computer time, anyway I could. You know what? I think I will turn this into a journal entry and continue later. Thanks. :)

I love the POTC movie, but have mixed feelings about the ride changes. But nothing I can do about it, really, and I am sure the new show will be really good. Even if they are changing the Wicked Wench into the Black Pearl.
If I could change one thing about Disneyland, it would be to bring the peoplemover (or a peoplemover-like attraction) back to tomorrowland.
