Whats going on?

Well Real Life has been pretty uneventful, except I forgot Conor had a doctor's appointment today (already rescheduled for tomorrow). So since my "first life" is boring, here is an update about my Second Life.

Things are going well in the romance department finally. I was very anxious for a while about it, that I was missing out on this big social dynamic to the game and not finding anyone. But things have turned around.

In other news, I sold another script. A variation on the one I wrote for artmomz. I recently took an apartment in a little Irish village. The owner wants to build a community of creative people there, and for some reason, I caught his attention. I have decided that my role in the community is "code poet" writing scripts for other people. One of the artists there sells stained glass. So I thought my script that changes the tranpserancy of windows would be a good application for her work. She had set up so her windows were user modifiable, but changing the transperancy was kind of tricky. My script now allows for it to be done automatically. She loves the script, and I customized it for her. She paid me 1000 Lindens for it. Which I think is a lot of money. But I see it more than her just buying a script, she is gonna use it in all her windows that she sells. So its more like an unlimited license. She will make the money back with the sales of her art in no time. I figure if I sold it in a script shop, it would be single-use no copy, no trade for L$300 - L$500 a pop. So she gets her money worth with just two or three uses.

I hope I meet other builders that need scripting so I can learn more stuff. Its hard for me to just code for coding's sake. I need a set goal, a project. So as I write more scripts, I will be learning more. And I am happiest when learning something new.
