Song of the South

Well it looks like Bob Iger has squashed the plans for Song of the South to be released on DVD this year.

I feel vindicated in having pirated the sucker.

I would buy it -- if I could. But I can't. Shame.

Geek On revisited

I am still in the mood to do geeky things. I worked on Jolt Finder this week, finishing something I had wanted to write from the begining, a way to edit entries already in the database. This should be useful as the Jolt lineup of products has changed since Jolt Finder went live. It was good to program again having taken quite a long break from it. I didn't quite get into the flow of coding though. It was like work. It was a real effort to shape the code to do what I want to do. I didn't have my usual inspiration. In fact there are a few ugly hacks in the code to get it to work. Ah well. At least it is done.

Now with these two scripts I wrote for Jolt Finder this week, there really is nothing left on my "to-do list" for the site. I am not sure how to improve it from here.

What I am really looking for is some Inspiration. With a capital I. Something to focus my geekly powers. Not that my powers are all that great, but they want to be exercised.
