Hanging in there
Oct. 11th, 2003 11:38 pmI really wanted to write a non-depressing entry. Honest. I am doing better. I'm taking my meds again, and I think it is helping.
Yesterday, while I was visiting Dad in the Hospital, they came and took him away to be transfered to the big VA hospital in Palo Alto. The crew from the ambulance was really nice.
This morning, I get a call from Dad, and he is in the ICU. He had some kind of episode. I am pretty worried actually. But people have told me that sometimes people get put in the ICU so they can keep better track of how they are doing.
I am going to go visit him tomorrow. Maedb & Conor will probably stay home since they probably don't want a four-year-old or guide dog in the ICU.
In other news, I've managed to return to my Aikido training. Felt good to be back on the mat.
Sensei told me that they are gonna start giving me a small amount of money. Yay!
Also, I am gonna cut back on teaching the older kids so I can concentrate more on the program for the younger folk.
