Wyoming storms are an incredible thing. This went from just about nothing to a sheet of hail and water falling sideways from the sky.

I don't know what storms are bigger out here than other places I have lived, but I'd like to learn. Also, the air smells so much cleaner here, triply so after a hard rain.

that storm was killer! our power was out for a couple hours afterward, even. haven't had a storm like that in a long time^.^

I know why! I took meteorology in college and the answer is not nearly as interesting as you'd think. Basically, it's the whole location of WHYoming in relation to major pacific and Arctic weather patterns. Boring huh? I prefer the "Wrath of Gaia" idea, you know, mother earth is a spectacular bitch =)
